Two Camera Interview One Tripod

I’ve been in some situations were I only could carry one tripod due to space or maximum luggage weight limits. Yet I still needed to shoot and deliver a two camera set up for an interview.

Sometimes I've gotten lucky and been able to convert something into a makeshift tripod or use one of my portable lights stands. But I've go to reliable solutions, for less then $25 that hardly add any weight at all.

The Articulating Arm (AKA Magic or Articulating Arm). This works great for light camera and allows you to easily and independently adjust the camera position. You can screw its right into the tripod head or super clamp it to the leg. The biggest downside is, its clumsy to move and you have to be certain to make it tight!

The  Dual Camera Photo Bracket  Its a much stable solution, intended for 3D capture. The down side is the tilt of the two cameras are in unison which may not be usable in all situations depending on your desired composition. One solution might be adding a small ball head to your lighter camera.

Keep in mind these are for lightweight cameras like the Sony A7 series or Panasonic G series. These are great tools to have around to mount plenty of other gear too. Such as lighting or audio equipment.
