How to Easily Update the Panasonic GH4 Firmware

Panasonic has the most convoluted website. For anyone who had difficulty updating their GH4 to the latest firmware, here it is in English.

Latest GH4 firmware (as of publishing) Scroll to the bottom for the download link.

Download > Unzip > Drag ".bin" file to SD Card

Insert SD card > Turn On > Enter Playback Mode > Press Yes 

1. Unzip the download
2. Drag the .bin file onto the root of an SD card
3. Insert the card into the fully charged camera
4. Enter the playback mode
5. Press Yes when prompted
6. Let it update...then restart!
