Manfrotto Befree Live Video Tripod

4lbs, 17inches, this thing is incredibly compact. I’ve found this thing to be the perfect secondary tripod. Because of it’s size it’s not great for smooth pans even with an a7s and a larger lens. But, I do use it for time-lapses and as my secondary camera for sit-down interviews.

Setting it up is quick and intuitive and I’m amazed how small the head is to be able to support the standard 501 plate. 

They’ve also added a great balancing head on top of the telescope

The price is great. Good travel bag.

Although it isn't always secure, it will keep my full frame SLR and Mirrorless camera with 70-200 stable for an interview.
