Charge All Your Batteries at Once

When you've got a multi day shoot you don't always have a ton of time to swap batteries as they charge.  Here is my setup for charging all my batteries at once.

They key is finding the cheapest Watson or Pearstone interchangeable chargers on B&H. A Canon LE-P6 one may cost you $20 but if you ignore the interface you can get them for as low as $6. Then buy the correct charging plates for $2. That way you can swap out the plates for your different equipment and its a safe investment for when you inevitable switch battery types. I find my self carrying plates for around 5 battery types on most shoot.

Now you need a power strip that can handle them all. The Belkin Pivot 8 Outlet Surge Protector is less then $30 and you can alternate the outlet allowing 9 batteries to charge per strip at a time. So now you can charge all your batteries at once for less then $50.

Side note I recommend the Tripp Lite 6 for international travel.
